PROJECTS
At the Red Blanket Project, our goal is to help, support, and enrich struggling villagers in remote areas of Kenya. From the Chyulu Hills just outside of Tsavo West National Park, to some of the largest nature reserves in Samburu, we provide assistance to communities impacted by poverty.
THE SHOE
THAT GROWS
Shoes are a luxury that not everyone has. The Shoe That Grows provides children in Kenya with comfortable footwear that expands to last their entire childhood.
It is estimated that over 300 million children around the world do not have shoes, making them susceptible to soil transmitted disease and parasites.

We have partnered with Because Internatinal to provide 100 pairs of shoes to the Samburu and Maasai villagers. These sandals are made in Nairobi, so all donations go to both helping a needy child AND providing a job for Kenyan locals.
​
This project was completed in January 2023 and 100 new pairs of sandals were distributed to the Samburu village and Maasai village children.

FOOD DONATION
The benefits of sports and physical activity in a child’s life are well documented.
​
Our goal is to help promote and encourage children in Africa to be better equipped to perform well in both athletics and school.
​
Many children play sports without shoes, athletic clothes, protective equipment, or even actual balls.
​
Your donation will go directly into purchasing these supplies, which include balls, basketball shoes, athletic clothes, and protective equipment. This will then be taken directly to Nigeria and distributed to children in need.
