THE RED BLANKET PROJECT

The mission of the Red Blanket Project is to provide in-kind and financial assistance to the Samburu and Maasai tribes in remote areas of Kenya.  Working directly with local village leaders, as well as with other nonprofit organizations, the Red Blanket Project's work includes the following:

 

• To provide basic necessities for children and adults in impoverished villages and in local orphanages, provide school supplies, and provide aid to village schools;

• To develop an educational program to cover school fees to allow impoverished children the opportunity to attend school, provide school supplies to students, provide financing for school uniforms, and provide financial assistance for construction of additional school programs; and

​

• To partner with other organizations to provide financial support to provide for a source of clean water in remote villages of Kenya where clean water is not available.
